Surrogacy in India ensures no betrayal to surrogates..

surrogacy in india

G-SMART, that is termed as Global Surrogate Mothers Advising Rights Trust is the one of the finest NGO based in Chennai, India has organised a workshop to address issues related to surrogate motherhood.

G-SMART always works to protect the rights of surrogate mothers. Surrogate comes to the NGO for the legal protection because some of the surrogate mothers are betrayed by the brokers or middlemen who deny them the promised amount of money. These brokers keep most of the amount with them and giving only half of the promised amount to the surrogate mothers.

A lady at the workshop also shared her pain. She said that she had to choose the surrogacy due to shortage of money and was con by the broker.

G-SMART is doing a great role for the benefit of the surrogates by providing insurance to the surrogate mothers and takes care of their children when the surrogate is carrying a child through surrogacy.

As, Surrogacy in India is becoming the hub for the surrogacy process, large number of international patients are coming to India for their surrogacy process.

These international patients get attracted towards the cost of the surrogacy inIndia and pay the exact money which is demanded by the Indian Surrogate agencies.

The NGO also states in the workshop, under the current draft, it has been written that all fertility clinics must be registered and monitored by a regulatory authority and the Surrogates must be of the age ranging from 21 to 35 years.
