Surrogacy
sounds very interesting to me. It is a beautiful concept where another female
carries the baby for a couple who has failed at conceiving. It is just so good
to hear how Surrogacy in India helps
in bringing a joyous parenthood.
As
surrogacy is not possible without a surrogate mother, so I did like to mention
about her. All my life I haven’t come across women as benevolent as her. Called
as the surrogate mother she might or might not be genetically related to the
child but she forms a bond beyond that. She forms this bond not only with the
child but also the intended parents (infertile couple). It is more like
friendship through surrogacy.
This
bond of friendship is going to lead in millions of dreams to come true!
What
brings in more respect for the surrogate is that she happily gives up the
parenting rights of the child in favour of the intended parents. She literally
feels more than happy in doing so. And probably this is the reason why many of
the medical tourists have been choosing India as their destination for
surrogacy treatment. Here the surrogates are not just reliable but are someone
who truly empathize with the feelings of couples who cannot conceive.
Though
there are two known methods of performing surrogacy i.e. gestational and
traditional surrogacy, still people prefer the former one more. The reason
behind this is, babies born through gestational surrogacy are genetically
related to one of the intended parents, and this in itself is a big advantage.
Surrogacy in India has
and will continue to help all those who have found no solution to their
infertility yet. Even the couples of same gender have babies with this method.
I
don’t think there could be any better choice than to go for surrogacy.
